The death is announced Mrs. Sarah Emilie Wolfe, widow of Ven. John Charles Wolfe, Archdeacon of Clogher, and youngest daughter of the late Isaac Higgin, of Cave Valley Estate, Jamaica, in her 91st year. Mrs. Wolfe died at 10 Dorset Mansions, Fulham on May 2. The Wolfes of Forenaghts are one of the oldest families in the kingdom, dating back to Norman times. The famous general of Quebec Viscount Kilwarden and Charles Wolfe , the poet, (author of "The Burial of Sir John Moore") were members of this family. The Higgin family is a very old Lancashire one.
Mrs Wolfe leaves two sons and two daughters, Mrs Eyre-Coote, Mrs Pooler, wife of the Archdeacon of Down, Rev Edward John Wolfe and Mr Arthur Wolfe.
