'Rhys ap Griffith/Gruffydd FitzUryan (Fitz Vryon)
At the age of 23, Griffith Rice was beheaded by King Henry VIII for inscribing the name Fitzurien on his coat - of - arms. The king then confiscated all the vast possessions of the Ryce to his own use.
