After the death of her husband, Justine, she married Joseph Pecheur in 1880 and thereafter took up her home at Onaga, KS.
Her declining years were passed at the home of her oldest daughter, Mary, at Leon, Butler County, KS, where she died in 1902. She is believed to be buried at Leon, KS.
