OBITUARY Thos. Brewster Dies At Kingsley Family Was Among First Settlers at Quorn

Thomas Brewster a resident of Garfield Township before the town of Kingsley was founded, died Wednesday at his home in Kingsley.

Mr. Brewster was born in England and came to Le Mars in 1880, when a boy of fourteen, with his parents. The Brewsters were employed on the Close Brothers ranch at Quorn.

He leaves his wife and six children, Mrs. Anna Hathaway of Beach, N.D.; Mrs. Violet Klaudt of Chicago; Mrs. Luella Hague of Rushville, Ind.; Charlotte Brewster, Omaha, Neb.; Wm. Brewster, Eagle Nest, N.M.; Alex Brewster, Kirkland, Illinois, and six grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brewster had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Monday, January 13, 1941 with a family reunion.
