Thomas Cromwell's obit:"THOMAS B.CROMWELL,age 89 of Monroe,died on Monday,January 3 2000, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home. He was born on September 21,1910,the son of George W. and Olive (Michaels) Cromwell. Thomas married Dorothy Rose Miner on June 21 1934. He was a mechanic all of his life working for Andereck Chevrolet in Juda and then for Reese Construction retiring in 1972. He was a member of St.John's United Church of Christ,Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #754 and the Knights of Pythias. Thomas enjoyed gardening, traveling and fishing. Surviving are his wife,Dorothy Cromwell of Monroe; son George(Barbara) Cromwell of Monroe; daughter, Rose Cromwell of Monroe; three grandchildren,Teresa(Steve)Freiberg of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Thomas(Dollie)Cromwell of Dallas Texas, Kristen(Brian) Agen of LaPorte,Indiana and three great- grandchildren. He is predeceased by four sisters, Mar(Otto)Maurer, Luella(Ray)Randall, Della(Ernest)Mayer and Carrie(Carl)Moore; two brothers,Oliver in infancy and David Cromwell. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7 2000 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohitke(?) Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Dr, Monroe. Officiating will be the Rev. Scheryl Seymour of St.John's United Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery,Monroe. Friends may call on Thursday, from 4:00 top 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in his name".
