They were probably living in town. Clement, Sr., lived on lot 3, near the old Standish Academy, where the Congregational church now stands but sold to Daniel Hasty in 177 i. John settled in the corner on the same side, and Clement, Jr., where the Standish town-farm now is. His son-in-law Timothy Crocker, lived on lot No. 42, which was a part of the Josiah Shaw farm. Who Crocker was, or whence he came, is not known. He and the Meserves all removed to Bristol, Me., in 1771. - Page n165”
