Tommy Wayne Townsend

Tommy Wayne Townsend, 41, widower of Heather Bailey Townsend of Montgomery County past away Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Joseph hospital in Mt. Sterling after a battle with cancer. Mr. Townsend is a native of Clark County, Kentucky. He was born on June 5, 1977 to the late Garry Townsend and Debra J Powell. He was a former welder at Morton and Davis and self-employed

He is survived by four children; Hunter Wayne Townsend, Jonathon Coy Townsend , Logan Ethan Townsend and Brantley Layne Townsend all of Montgomery County. A sister; Erin Townsend of Clark County. One step sister; Melissa Humphrey of Harrodsburg; Several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend Charmin Higgins of Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marshall and OraLee Powell, and Otis and Edith Tipton, Townsend. Also preceded in death by his brother Garry Townsend Jr.

A celebration of life will be held from 4pm to 5pm January 19, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home.
