About Walter Murch
WALTER MURCH 3rd son of Walter Jr probably grew up in Biddeford. He was a lame man and in 1756 the town of Saco paid Dr Samuel White of Portland to examine him and dress his leg. He was obviously very poor. He married Jerusha Brown in Gorham in Nov of 1758. She was born in Eastham Mass. (Cape Cod) 28 May 1738. Walter moved from Biddeford to Gorham with 3 of his brothers around 1754. He lived on the Deacon Paine place lot 63 on the Flaggy Meadows Road.
Walter and Jerusha had the following children all born in Gorham.
