

Was an army P.E instructor durring WWII. Had been a territorial army instructor for 13 years. Applied for the para troopers, but had in the mean time a gym accident while vaulting over a wooden horse and landed heavily on the edge of the gym mat, damagin his instep (Was treated in the Canadian hospital in London).
