William B. Boyd

Alexander "John" Boyd, b. 9-16-1785 in NC, d. Aug 1819 in KY near TN border. he may have married twice.

1. 1 ?____ Witherspoon and #2 Rheuanna = Rosanna "Penny" (McKnight) Boyd, b. ca. 1792 in Burke Co., NC and d. ca. 1818 in KY-TN border. They had children: one was William B. Boyd, b. 9-18-1812 in Lebanon, Wilson Co., Tn and d. 3-18-1894 in Rusk-Jacksonville, Cherokee Co., TX. He married Narcissa Dill, b. 1-30-1822 in Rutherford Co., TN and died 8-15-1909 in Jacksonville, Cherokee Co., TX. She was d/o Issac Wright Dill, b. 1788 and Gillis = Tillie Cooper, b. 1794. William and Narcissa had children: one was "Tennessee" Virginia Boyd, b. 8-9-1858 in Ruk, Cherokee Co., TX to d. 11-5-1935 in same. She married John Woodson Frances, b. 1856 to 8-18-1931. They had numerous children: (refer to Find a Grave) One child was Mary Wood Francis, b. 1894 to d. 1967 whom married George Condy Weddell, b. 1881 to d. 1973. Their son was Wood francis Weddell Str, b. 1916 to d. 1982 who married Betty (Bertha) Malissa Ousley, b. 1912 to d. 1977. They had four children: Mary C., Monty , Wood, and Michael. Monty Thomas Ousley Weddell, has publisher 47 volumes of history with 18,000 pages in "Our Family Heritage" series, and others.
