Declarant: Alexandre Hirsch, age 28 years, domiciled in Dehlingen, profession merchant. Father of infant - declarant. Mother of infant, Julian Loevi, spouse of Declarant. First witness: Charles Klein, age 54, [profession illegible]. Second witness: Henry Deitier, age 40, profession jeweler(?). Both witnesses domiciled in this town. Lecture made, and the officer of the civil state signed with the above. [Signatures]

Town of Dehlingen, Arrondisement de Saverne, 3rd day of March, 1841, at 2:00 pm, Registration of Marriage of Wolf Hirsch, profession salesman, domiciled at Dehlingen, age 22, born at Dehlingen 10 October 1818, oldest child of a legitimate marriage of Alexandre Hirsch, age 52, profession butcher, domiciled at Dehlingen, who is present and consenting, and of Julie Loevi, age 44, without profession, domiciled at Dehlingen, who is present and consenting; and of Rosine MUller, without profession, domiciled at Dehlingen, age 22, born at Dehlingen following an attested affidavit [illegible] day of August 1818, oldest legitimate daughter of Jacques Muller, age 64, profession salesman, domiciled in Dehlingen, who is present and consenting. Banns published at Dehlingen on Sunday, the 24th and 30th of January, 1841, before which they stated for the registry of the town that there was no opposition. The groom produced a copy of his birth registration and the bride produced an attested affidavit in place of her birth registration. In accordance with the laws and other requirements of the civil code, and of chapter 6, title V, book 1 of that code, I, as an officer of the civil state, lectured them on the terms of the law. I then declared before the spouses present that Rosine Muller and Wolff Hirsch were married, in the presence of four witnesses as follows: 1. Jacques Schwab, age 45, profession salesman, friend of the groom; 2. Henri Becker, age 65, profession manager, neighbor of the groom; 3. Henri Wiedman, age 46, farmer, neighbor of the bride; 4.William Koeppel, age 53, profession farmer, neighbor of the bride. All of the witnesses are domiciled in the Town of Dehlingen. After which I, Henri Koeppel, Mayor, acting as an officer of the civil state, pronounced them married. Lecture given, this registration was signed by the aforesaid spouses, witnesses and summoned parties, and by me as an officer of the civil state. [Signatures - several in Hebrew]
