At a very young age, I resided in a vast house owned by Olga Chacón Silva, known as La Quintrala de Quillota, a prominent figure in our family. She not only ran the company established a century ago with an iron fist but also played a significant role in shaping our family's history. The house was a sprawling and peculiar place, even accommodating trains.
It was expected to hear tales of our ancestors and relatives, their names echoing through the halls of our family history. Eusebio Lillo, Arturo Prat, and other heroes of the Pacific War, presidents, witches, politicians, spies during the Second War, Writers, (Los Lillo), (Los Gana) The Writers Matilde Ladrón de Guevara, Rosario Orrego, Women sent aboard the Queen Elizabeth for months to keep them away from unsuitable suitors. Even Kennedy's blonde, a mysterious figure who played a significant role in our family's history, is part of this Project. Who was this figure? What was their role? These are the questions that have piqued my curiosity, and I am determined to uncover the answers. I am collecting people, ancestors, and their stories. This is a testimony of a family present since the beginnings of Chile, like many others, only. This story will remain for those to come.
This Project is about collecting, documenting, and preserving the stories of our family, which has been an integral part of Chile's history since its inception. This memoir is not just a testament to our family's journey, but a celebration of our enduring presence in this beautiful country. It will serve as a guide for future generations to understand and cherish their roots.
