This project aims at tracking the various branches of the Oberholzer family, whose origins are in and around Oberholz, in Switzerland. The surname has evolved over time, and variations include the following: Oberholtz, Uberholtzer, Overholser, Oberheuser, Overhults, VanHulser, Overhuls, Overhalser, Overhalt, Atherholt, Obold, Uberholser, Overholtzer, Overholt, Overhulster and Oberholser etc… The project also tries to identify where in the world, today’s descendants of the root Oberholzer’s are actually living.
